I was looking for shoes that would fit a wider foot. Normally, I wear size 39 shoes, but following the guide, I bought size 38 because they have a bit of extra room. I didn't need any break-in period; the shoes were immediately comfortable for my wide feet. They've been my favorite shoes for several years now, though I haven't used them as winter shoes yet.
